Records

Over the years there have been many fantastic performances by Athletics Auckland Athletes, and many of these are reflected in the records, some of which date back over 40 years.

Children’s Records (Grade 7-14yrs)

Auckland Championship records can only be broken at the Auckland Junior Championships.

Auckland Resident Records can be broken at approved events as specified in the Athletics Auckland Junior Championship and Resident Record Rules

All Record applications must meet the conditions specified in the Record Rules.

Senior Records

Records can be broken at any meet as long as the technical officials are at the same standard as a New Zealand Championship. This includes the Auckland, North Island and New Zealand Schools Championships. Records cannot be broken at a Children’s event.
