Athletics Auckland is putting on a seminar for all clubs to attend on important items that you have advised us are important to you. We are arranging presenters and the subjects for discussion (in no particular order) are as follows:

1: Acquiring and retaining volunteers

2: Succession planning

3: Gaining membership

4: Coaching development and pathways

5: Tu Manama Active funding and the Incorporated Societies Act 2022

6: Club night operations- opportunity for clubs to network

Check In 10.30am      Commence Throwing: 11am.

Entries close Thursday prior to competition date. Enter by providing name, gender, and age to either paksenior.track@gmail.com or Whatsapp 02102292521 or txt to 02102292521. If you forget to register, just turn up anyway. Registrations do help us organise the event.

Eligibility: All Masters Grades PLUS 20-24 and 25-30 year group. The 20+ group will throw same implements as 30 – 40 age group and be scored on the same basis.

Those new to throwing or have not thrown for a while or have never thrown some of the implements, arrive at 10am for a quick coaching course.

Entry Fee: $10 (when you arrive) and a plate of food to share with others at completion of the day’s competition. Traditionally competition finishes about 1.15pm and then we socialise until 3pm or so.

Prizegiving will follow the October event> To be eligible for a medal you need to have competed at least twice over the Series.

NO records can be made or broken. Having fun is essential. Experienced throwers please help those less experienced.

Competitors are required to assist in officiating.
