Click for Online Registration Form
Our Level 1 course is a great way to take your first step in becoming an official, by learning about Athletics from the official’s point of view, what you’re looking for and how to assist athletes in an encouraging and collaborative environment. It involves a 2-hour overview of athletics, including safety and safeguarding (“the General officiating seminar”) which is mandatory for all participants.
Tuesday 1 July 6-8pm General officiating seminar (intro, H&S, core knowledge)
AAI Office, Mt Smart #2 Arena, 51 O’Rorke Road. Penrose. Park in the Athletes Car Park.
Please note that the General officiating seminar is mandatory, but it is the participants choice as to which of the event categories they attend (e.g. Walks on the 8/7/25 or Out of Stadia on 24/7/25).
