Athletics Auckland Children’s Track & Field
Children’s Track & Field is for anyone for 7 – 14 years (as at 31st December 2020). The Athletics Auckland Children’s Committee is made up of representatives from Athletics Auckland affiliated clubs. The season runs from 1st October to 31 March each year with a calendar of events posted to the website. These events include Club Ribbon Days and Athletics Auckland organised events at Mt Smart Stadium (and other venues in Auckland).Being involved in athletics will not only make you a better athlete but will assist your ability in other sports by helping you run faster, jump higher and throw further.
If you are aged 14 or under and wish to become involved in athletics your first step is to find an athletics club near you.

Interprovincials 12/13
Date: Easter Weekend
Athletics Auckland selects two teams for this competition. The two teams are called Auckland and Counties Manukau. Both teams have had very good results from this event over the last 10 years. The 2021 event will take place over Easter 3rd and 4th April 2021 , Manawatu Community Athletics Track, Palmerston North. If you are interested in either team please contact the Team Managers below.

North & South Island Colgate Games
The Colgate Games are held once a season in the North and South Island in the January School Holidays. This is one of the biggest Athletics meets held in New Zealand. The Colgate Games are open to all registered athletes aged 7- 14 years.
They are held at different venues each year and any registered athlete can enter.
Please be aware that entries do close in November and no late entries are accepted.
