Depending upon demand we are planning to have seminars on the dates below.
Please note that everyone needs to have been on the General seminar at least once. If you are totally new to becoming an official, and planning to attend, say the Track seminar, then you need to attend the general one as well.
If you have attended a General seminar in the last 18 to 24 months you should be okay. Longer than that we suggest a revision would be helpful.
All seminars will be at the AAI offices, O’Rorke Rd, Penrose at 7 pm.
Tuesday 25 June GENERAL Covers the World Athletics (WA) Rules that are common to all event types.
Thursday 27 June TRACK
Tuesday 2 July OUT of STADIA (Cross country, road, trail & mountain running).
Thursday 4 July JUMPS
Tuesday 9 July THROWS
We have also been asked for some Photo Finish Basic Operation seminars to be offered. If you are interested in becoming a Photo Finish Judge, please note that it is necessary to complete a C Track grading for the results to meet WA requirements for PF judges.
Because there will be limited space in the photo finish room we will need to arrange times that suit all concerned.
There is a $5 fee per seminar to cover the cost of photocopy costs.
If you are interested in any of the above please complete the chart here and return to the AAI Office via email office@athleticsauckland.co.nz
