Venue: Yvette Williams Track, Pakuranga

Check In 10.30am      Commence Throwing: 11am.

Entries close Thursday prior to competition date. Enter by providing name, gender, and age by txt or  WhatsApp message to 02102292521 or email paksenior.track@gmail.com  . If you forget to register, just turn up anyway. Registrations do help us organise the event.

Eligibility: All Masters Grades, PLUS 13-15, 16-17, 18-20, 21-24 and 25-29 year group. The Under 18’s will throw the implements as per Secondary Schools schedule. The 18+ group will throw same implements as 30 – 50 age group.

Those new to throwing, have not thrown for a while or have never thrown some of the implements, arrive at 10am for a quick coaching course.

Entry Fee: $10 (when you arrive) and a plate of finger food to share with others at completion of the day’s competition. Tea and coffee provided. Traditionally competition finishes about 1.30pm and then we socialise.

Prizegiving will follow the October event. To be eligible for a medal you need to have competed at least twice over the Series. For medals, those new to throwing or have not thrown for a while, will be graded as Novices. We award medals to both novice and experienced throwers.

RULES: NO records can be made or broken. NO mobile phones may be used during competition time. 1 warm up throw and 3 competition throws. Competitors are required to assist in officiating.

Experienced throwers please help those less experienced.

2026 North Island Colgate Games will be held at Tauranga Domain, Tauranga.

Entry is open to any child aged 7-14 years who is a member of an affiliated athletics club, and both events present an opportunity for children to compete in a fun and encouraging environment.

You don’t need to be selected or be a top athlete, though medals are awarded for 10-14 year old’s in each event. For 7-9 year old’s, the focus is on participation.

The Colgate Games are held in January every year and are made up of two events, one in the North Island Colgate Games and one in the South Island Colgate Games
