ACA Relays - A Covid-19 Exposure Site
Important Information that concerns everyone that attended the ACA Paris Relay on Saturday 14th August at Cornwall Park.
ACA have just been advised by the Auckland Regional Public Health Service that someone who has subsequently tested COVID-19 positive attended the ACA Pairs Relays at Cornwall Park on Saturday August 14.
While this was an open air event (which lowers the risk of transmission), the fact that people were mingling during the day means that the health authorities are regarding everyone who attended the event as a Close Contact and the event will be listed today as a Location of Interest on the Ministry of Health website.
As a Close Contact, you are required to self-isolate for 14 days from the date of exposure (i.e. until Saturday August 28), get an immediate Covid-19 test and a further test on day 12 (August 26).
Self-Isolate means you cannot leave you home except when getting your immediate test (today!) and a further test this Thursday.
