In line with current government guidelines, the 2022 Colgate Games can only be held if New Zealand is at an orange or green light in the pending traffic light system within the Covid-19 Protection Framework.
The Colgate Games would be a vaccination certificate event with all attendees aged 12 and over needing to hold a current vaccination certificate to attend the event. For clarification this includes athletes, officials, volunteers, vendors, team managers, parents and spectators. We are awaiting confirmation from the Government on the requirements for children turning 12 after 1 December 2021 and will affirm this as soon as possible.
The Colgate Games entry deadline has been extended to 11.59pm Sunday 5 December.
In addition, entry fees from clubs will only be processed once the events are confirmed and the deadline for payments will be 31 December 2021.
Please note the events will need sufficient entries to go ahead, and we will update you on this as soon as is possible following closure of entries.
The Colgate Games programme will be going online this year and a physical copy will not be available for purchase. This is necessary in order to extend the entry closing date and also supports a more eco-friendly Games.
