#FlashbackThursday Today we go back to 1988 to the Robin Tait Classic – Men’s Pole Vault.

The venue was East Coast Bays Stadium now known as AUT Millennium and also the home of Athletics New Zealand

The winning height of the Pole Vault was 5.67m (a New Zealand Allcomers record at the time. The Allcomers record currently stands at 6.00m!)
